The Washington Day of Percussion will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the University of Washington hosted by Bonnie Whiting, UW Chair of Percussion Studies.
The annual Washington Day of Percussion brings together percussionists of all ages for a full day of performances, workshops, masterclassses and clinics. The Day’s events will feature:
9:30am-11:30am Solo performance Festival:
High School percussionists perform and receive written feedback from William Wanser, Phoenix Symphony (retired), Dr. Andrew Angell, Dr. Kendra McLean, and Dr. Patrick Roulet. Up to three participants will be chosen to perform on the Saturday Evening Concert as part of the Day of Percussion’s Events.
